Seasonal Floral Studio Assistant 

Location
Home-based floral studio in Hollywood, South Carolina

Pay
$14.00/hour with 10% raise after 1 month (trial and training period)

Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (at least 20 hours/week - can be flexible, example 7:00am-12:00pm, 8:00am-1:00pm)

Additional Hours
Occasional nights/weekends for wedding breakdowns

Seasonal Term
August–December 2025 | Opportunity to return during the busy seasons in 2026 (March–June; September-December)

Start Date
Within 2 weeks of this posting (no later than August 4th)

About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Floral Studio Assistant to support our design team during one of our most exciting times of the year. This entry-level, seasonal position is ideal for someone who has a passion for flowers and design, enjoys hands-on work, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. No prior floral experience is needed — just bring your enthusiasm and reliability, and we’ll teach you the rest!

Key Responsibilities

  • Unpack and prep fresh flower shipments (remove leaves, cut stems, hydrate)

  • Assist with floral arrangements and prep for upcoming events

  • Clean vases, floral buckets, candles, and studio tools

  • Organize supplies to ensure smooth production each week

  • Keep the workspace clean, tidy, and efficient

  • Occasionally assist with wedding/event breakdowns in the evening

  • Pitch in with other tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

  • Flexible availability, including some nights/weekends

  • A valid driver’s license for delivery help

  • Must be willing to submit to a South Carolina criminal background check

  • Preference given to candidates local to Hollywood, Edisto, or Ravenel, SC

  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and jump in wherever needed

  • Able to manage time effectively and multitask

  • Able to work independently or as part of a team

Part-Time Floral Designer 

Location
Home-based floral studio in Hollywood, South Carolina

Pay
$20-22/hour, based on experience

Schedule
Wednesday-Saturday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (at least 20 hours/week and can be flexible, example: 7:00am-12:00pm, 8:00am-1:00pm)

Additional Hours
Occasional weekends for wedding set-ups (will share dates upon hire) 

Employment Type
Seasonal Part-Time beginning in late August through mid-December 2025, starting back up in March-June 2026 

Start Date
Immediate Start (no later than Aug 13 to start training) 

About the Role
We’re seeking a Part-Time Floral Designer to join our team to create beautiful and unique floral arrangements for weddings and other special occasions. This role offers the opportunity to be creative, work with a variety of flowers and materials, and make a positive impact on customers' special occasions. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of various flower types and their uses in arrangements, ensuring that each design meets the specific needs and preferences of our clients. In addition to design responsibilities, the Floral Designer will collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and creativity in their work.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in floral design

  • Willingness to try new and innovative design styles according to the client’s preference

  • Knowledge of floral arrangements and flower types

  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or on a team

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize

  • Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

  • A valid driver’s license for delivery help

  • Must be willing to submit to a South Carolina criminal background check
